Genesis
In August 1951, WWII veteran Joseph Suess and his wife Rosemary began Suess Electronics with the promise to provide the best in sales, installation and service. The Company quickly established a loyal following with residents of Northeast Wisconsin by installing and servicing thousands of televisions, antennas, console phonographs and radios.
Evolution
Suess Electronics established its leadership role by offering the latest in Consumer Electronics Technology. We introduced stereo to Northeast Wisconsin in the 1960′s, large screen television in the 1970′s and home theater in the 1980′s. In the 1990′s Suess Electronics established its well-known Custom Electronics division, offering built-in solutions for new and existing construction, integrating whole-house audio and video systems, Home Theater, and the latest Home Automation technology. Since the new millennia Suess Electronics was the first to bring OLED TV, Laser Based TV, HDTV, and true 3D Television to Northeast Wisconsin.
Today
In May 2004, Suess Electronics moved to its present 33,000 square foot showroom and service facility on Wisconsin Avenue in Appleton. From this location Suess Electronics provides 21st Century technology and a Master Service Center for all products we sell. Just like that day in August 1951, Suess Electronics continues to be a family owned business – now under the leadership of Joe and Rosemary’s son, Tim Suess.
