General Questions

Where is Suess Electronics located?

  • Our showroom is located at 2520 West Wisconsin Avenue in Appleton, Wisconsin. We are located on the corner of West Wisconsin Avenue and North Lynndale Drive, next to Pick N’ Save. You may recognize our building for its distinctive arched roof!

How can I get in contact with you?

What brands do you carry?

  • At Suess Electronics, we don’t carry every brand – just the best brands! We select our manufacturers and products very carefully to ensure peak performance and long life. Many of these brands are household names like Sony, Samsung and LG, as well as names you might not know yet, like McIntosh, Araknis and GoldenEar. What forms of payment do you accept?

  • We accept cash, checks and all major debit and credit cards.

Do you offer financing?

  • Yes! We have different options available for purchases both large and small. Give us a call or stop in and we can walk you through the options we offer. You can also visit our financing page to learn more about HFS Home Improvement Loans and apply online.

Do you sell used electronics?

  • Yes! We have an ever-changing selection of pre-owned electronics of all sorts, including speakers, receivers, televisions, projectors, projection screens, accessories and more. If you’re looking for a specific item or just a really great value, stop into our showroom to see what’s currently in store. You can also see a list of the kind of use products we often carry on our used electronics page.

Do you sell or install car stereos, remote starters or marine electronics?

  • Sorry, Suess Electronics does not sell or install electronics in automobiles, motorcycles or boats.

Services

Do you deliver and install?

  • Absolutely! We have a dedicated team of professionals ready to deliver, setup and custom install the items you purchase from us. Your salesperson can walk you through all the options and schedule your appointment.

Do you sell or provide service for cell phones?

  • As of 2019, we no longer have a cellular phone department. (We do, however, sell and install cell repeater systems that improve cellular reception reliability inside homes and businesses.)

Do you sell Spectrum, DISH Network or DirecTV?

  • We are not a dealer or reseller of any TV service.

Do you recycle TVs?

  • Yes, we do accept televisions for recycling at our store. Due to the costs associated with responsibly recycling televisions, there is a fee charged depending on the size and type of your unit. Please call the store at (920) 733-6464 for current pricing.

Do you install Starlink Internet?

  • While we are not a Starlink dealer or reseller and do not service Starlink, our seasoned antenna professionals do offer installation services for the Starlink Internet hardware you purchase yourself. Once you have decided on Starlink Internet as your Internet service provider, give us a call or fill out the form on our Starlink page to get pricing and availability of Starlink installation in your area. (Note: it is best to contact us before you order Starlink because we will recommend a couple of optional installation parts you should request for the best experience.)

Do you wire homes for TV and Internet?

  • We do offer wiring services for new construction homes, as well as retrofit wiring for existing homes. We can wire your home for TV (coax distribution for cable and antenna), speakers, Internet (Ethernet networking), and surveillance camera systems.

Repair

Do you repair TVs and home stereo equipment?

  • Yes! Suess Electronics is one of the few local, independent electronics stores that still have a Master Service Center operating in-store with trained and experienced technicians. In fact, we’ve been servicing TVs and audio equipment in the Fox Valley for over 70 years!
  • We service most brands we sell in-store. Call our store at (920) 733-6464 and ask for repair service. Our experts will be able to tell you if it is a brand and model that can be repaired, and we’ll walk you through the costs and timeline of getting your item repaired.
  • Remember… when you buy a Sony TV from us, we are your warranty repair center — no shipping your TV out of state to some unknown location for service. That’s the advantage of buying from Suess!

Do you repair Bose products?

  • We are no longer a Bose dealer, and Bose now requires all service work to be performed at their own facilities. To obtain Bose service, please visit their Repair and Replacement website.

Television

What size TVs do you sell?

  • We sell TVs of all sizes for just about every room of your home and every application, from small TVs perfect for kitchens and bedrooms to large-screen TVs as big as 100 inches. We also carry weather-rated outdoor televisions for patios and screen porches, and even TVs specially made for bathrooms. We can put a TV just about anywhere you want a TV! And if you want an even bigger screen, be sure to check out our short-throw projectors that sit on TV furniture like a normal television but give you a brilliant 4K picture as large as 120 inches.

TV Antennas

Do you install TV antennas?

  • Yes! We’ve been professionally installing TV antennas for many decades, and have knowledgeable pros on staff that can access your unique geographical situation and install the right antenna in the right place to get as many channels as possible. Give us a call or fill out the form on our antennas page for pricing and scheduling.

How much does a TV antenna installation cost?

  • Every situation is unique, and there are a lot of factors that affect the cost of a TV antenna installation. These include how far away from our store you live, how far you are from the broadcast towers, the type of home you have, topographic features and obstructions (like trees) nearby and so forth. Give us a call at (920) 733-6464 and one of our experts will be able to learn more about your situation and give you an idea of the cost of installation.

Will I be able to get all the channels available in the Green Bay area?

  • Every situation is different and there are a lot of factors that affect TV reception. While we can’t guarantee you will receive every available channel in the market, our technicians are experienced and trained to get you the best reception and most channels possible for your unique reception situation.

Do you service or install TV antenna towers?

  • We do not currently install or service TV antenna towers.

Do you have home stereo systems I can listen to in-store?

  • We are the largest home audio dealer in Northeast Wisconsin and have multiple dedicated listening rooms equipped with the latest high-performance speakers, amplifiers, subwoofers, turntables, in-wall speakers, headphones and more. If you’re looking to get into home audio, or you have a system you’d like to upgrade, visit our showroom and our trained experts would love to demonstrate home audio options for any musical taste and budget.

Do you have demo home theaters in store?

  • As one of the largest home theater dealers in the country, we pride ourselves on having nine fully equipped and functional home theaters in our store. If you are looking for ideas for your own home theater project and want to experience the latest products and technology, we invite you to tour our home theater rooms. Our experts are ready to demonstrate our products, answer any questions, and help you design the home theater of your dreams!

Is a home theater expensive?

  • The beautiful part of having a home theater is you get to tailor your space to your tastes – and your budget. We’ve designed and installed home theater rooms that are very basic, as well as theaters that are quite extravagant. Some customers choose to start with a simple projector, screen and sound system, while others may also add dedicated theater seating, lighting, and automated controls. Many also choose to start small and add on or upgrade over time. The possibilities are endless. Our designers will work with you to transform whatever space you choose into a high-performance home theater that you can afford.

Do you offer special home theater seating?

  • We work with a variety of top furniture manufacturers to offer a wide range of seating options for your home theater. Our selection includes dedicated rows of home theater seating with motorized reclining, functional armrests, and other features, as well as plush, comfortable sectional furniture that fits well in either a living room or multi-purpose setting. We have a wide variety of seating you can try out in our showroom, and we can custom-order pieces to match your style and decor.

Do you have options for home theaters if I don’t want to hang a projector or run wires inside my walls?

  • We have lots of great, high-performance options, even for those who rent and can’t make major modifications to their living spaces. For example, we carry short-throw projectors that sit on a piece of furniture under the screen and still give you a big, bold 4K picture. There are also lots of soundbars and wireless and/or virtual surround sound products on the market that are easy to place and don’t require elaborate wiring. Stop in and demo these options for yourself in our showroom.

What is the advantage of having an integrated smart home installed by professionals?
